Our Journey Together
Path4ward - founded by four year 12 students - emerged from our desire to create an educational space that resonates with students. Our collective journey began with the goal of exploring subjects that matter - beyond the textbooks given at school. There's significant importance when it comes to bridging academic knowledge with real application. This is what we mainly want to target. Join us as we share our stories, insights and experience. This is not just about us but about you also.

The Founders
Gold Ariyo
Economics Enthusiast
Hi, I’m Gold, and I’m passionate about understanding how the world works — through the lens of economics. Co-founding the Banking and Finance Hub at my school opened my eyes to the power of applying economics beyond the classroom. It taught me that real learning happens when we connect what we study with the world around us — from budgeting and markets to behaviour and policy. I created Path4ward to share this passion and help others, like me, explore the real-life side of economics. I’m especially drawn to how economics connects with other disciplines and helps explain how people, systems, and decisions interact on a deeper level.
I’m an aspiring investment banker, aiming to study Economics and Management at one of the world’s leading universities. But more than that, I want to inspire others to explore what drives them and build their own futures — confidently, creatively, and intelligently.
Dentistry Advocate
Chioma Ekezie
Hey everyone, I’m Chioma! I’ve always had a deep interest in healthcare. Growing up, I aspired to become a doctor, driven by a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve discovered a growing passion for dentistry—a field that perfectly blends my love for science and art, while allowing me to build long-term, impactful relationships with patients. Right now, I’m still exploring whether I want to specialise in a particular area of dentistry through postgraduate study. But beyond the clinical side, my interest in the business and management side of healthcare began when I studied Business at GCSE. Since then, I’ve developed a real passion for the idea of one day running my own dental practice. Being part of Path4ward is about more than just documenting my journey toward my dream—it’s about sharing it. I hope to offer valuable insights to like-minded individuals by sharing my challenges, motivations, mistakes, advice, and lessons learned along the way. I truly believe these shared experiences can help guide others on their own unique paths too!
Michelle Ncube
Hi, I’m Michelle, as an individual fascinated about physics and its mathematical foundations, this has inspired me to take on physics & maths A-Level alongside economics at school. What I like about physics is how it explores the questions “why” and seeks to answer the question “how” which are all important to me and the way life operates. Physics has so many applications into our modern world and has been responsible for discoveries that allow our world to function hence why I wish to study it at a masters level. Post university, I look forward to transitioning into the financial sector, specifically quantitative finance as it uses mathematical concepts, requires data analysis & problem solving skills which are gained within a physics degree. I look forward to sharing my journey along with my other comrades!
Physics Pioneer
Psychological Explorer
Esther Sofolabo
Welcome! I’m Esther, and I see myself pursuing a degree in psychology at university. I’ve encountered a variety of people in different settings, and the more I observe their behaviour, the more I wonder what drives it and how they perceive it in their own minds. Alongside this, I’ve realised how much I care about the well-being of others, drawn to understanding and supporting people. Studying psychology at A-level has helped me begin to find answers to these questions, through my own research and various resources — from videos to academic articles — to deepen my knowledge. Hearing others’ experiences and learning about the many paths within this dynamic field has inspired me to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology after completing my degree, with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. No matter the path I take, I hope to work across the world, engaging with people in diverse settings, industries, and from all walks of life.
